It beggars belief but The BLOG is about to open if we get around to writing for it!
Es increíble pero El BLOG pronto sea abierto si no estaremos demasiados vagos (ó pobre, claro) para usar!
Change your perspective, make people think, maybe even make some cash...
Get out on the street and try it - make people smile, learn a lot about yourself (and other people) by trying the begging/busking life for a while.
Feel free to use the ideas as you wish, but please :
Try them out - maybe you'll like the results. Being lazy, being happy, being yourself whilst making people smile is one of the best feelings that exists...
Send us any new ideas you have and we will publish them here.
Dress as outlandishly as you can (or feel like) and stand on a busy street playing air guitar (as in pretending to play a non-existent guitar) with a sign in front saying "To buy a new guitar..." (this also works with other instruments, juggling, whatever)
Get a transparent plastic tray (recycle one or cut the side of a large water bottle) filled a couple of centimeters deep with water. Add a few coins and place a (preferably lavish) sign behind saying "Make a wish..." (you can also use this with straps in mobile form to go around bar terraces etc.)
Dress in whatever typical executive attire you can, preferably with briefcase. Sit at lunchtime in an upmarket banking district with a sign saying "For lawyers..."
Dress in an outlandish caricature of someone rich and famous and sit with a sign saying "For a third house..."
Set up a sign saying something along the lines of "Philatelist - need to complete my collection" with a board in front with circles/rectangles in the sizes of all available currency in whatever country you happen to be (e.g. 1cent, 2cent ... 200euro 500euro). Fill in all the coppers and leave the rest blank.
A standard begging sign but write "Only notes accepted" :-)
We're honest...we made you think and smile...we've even got a bloody website.
What more do you want before you give money to a beggar?! :-)
